Joe has been litigating in both the state and federal courts of North Carolina since 1993. In addition to litigating matters at the trial level, Joe also handles appeals in the North Carolina Appellate Courts as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Joe’s practice is quite varied and involves a wide range of criminal and civil matters including serious felony cases, domestic matters, serious personal injury matters, guardianship matters, estate litigation, employment matters, other general litigation matters, and appeals. Joe also regularly lectures groups on the law of self-defense in North Carolina.

When not busy serving his clients, Joe enjoys reading, exercising, golfing, and spending time with his family.
